Angelina Begay


Yá’át’ééh. I am Angelina Begay from Rock Point, AZ on the Navajo Reservation.

I started learning how to weave watching my mom, Elsie Begay when I was 12 years old. Eventually she put up one for me to weave. My very first rug I gave to my father. He still has it to this day.

I enjoy weaving, even though I learn from my mistakes. There is always room for improvement. I love to make each Teec Nos Pos design different and unique, finishing it off with my hallmark signature.
